Examinations, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: The Center for Animal Wellness is equipped to provide preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to care for your pet's complete health care needs for every state of their life.  The annual wellness exam performed by our veterinarians is very thorough and includes a detailed analysis of every body system, as well as dietary and behavior consultation.  We also encourage new puppy and kitten owners to schedule an exam shortly after adoption to obtain important information and begin their vaccination schedule.  We offer all of the core canine and feline vaccines for healthy pets.

Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions, and oral surgery.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, vitamins, shampoos, and heartworm preventives to meet the needs of your pet.

Laboratory: Our in house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing.  Having the in house laboratory makes it possible for us to obtain immediate lab results in the unfortunate event that your dog or cat is sick and requires an immediate diagnosis and/or treatment.  We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consulations.  We have a wide range of blood tests available to us ranging from heartworm tests to geriatric screens.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients.  Using the most modern equipment, the patients vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.  Preanesthetic bloodwork is also performed and evaluated on each patient before they undergo anesthesia.

Surgical Services: Our surgical suite is available for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to, spays and neuters.

Radiowave Surgery: The cutting or destruction of tissue by the use of high frequency radio waves. This state-of the-art equipment is generally used in all surgical procedures. The use of this patient- and personnel-safe equipment reduces the patient's surgical and anesthesia time, minimizes tissue bleeding and post-operative discomfort, and shortens healing and recovery.

Radiology Services: Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

Video Otoscopy: Through the use of an instrument containing a camera less than the size of a pencil eraser, we are able to visualize ear structures at a magnification of 25X. The video otoscopy also has an operative channel through which we may remove growths and foreign bodies and treat middle ear infections which would otherwise only be treatable surgically.

Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Physio-Therapy: Using low-frequency electrical impulses transmitted through numerous electrodes we are able to stimulate injured muscles, joints, and nerves to promote safe, more rapid, and drug-free healing.

Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance, and geriatric care.

Progressive Pain Management: We will provide pain management, circulation improvement, healing, and mobility through the use of chiropractic and massage therapies. We can also provide weight management, therapeutic exercise, and safe, natural anti-inflammatories.

Behavioral Counseling: We provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, and aggression. We will help teach your pet to relax and listen, while helping the entire family understand and correct problems.

Emergency Care: Please call (303) 534-1875 for instructions regarding after-hour emergencies or visit our Emergencies page.
